Dynamic Content Servers provide functionality that extend the basic Lucid CMS. Each module is optimised for publishing and managing large amounts of specific types of content, and their implementation significantly increases overall system scalability.

Dynamic Content Server Modules

As your website becomes more established, and the amount of content on it continues to grow, the management of the site's pages can become time consuming and complex. Information architectures and navigational systems that were designed with dozens of pages per section in mind, don't cope as well when the page count gets into hundreds.

This where these modules come in. Designed to cope with huge quantities of content, suddenly it becomes realistic to consider publishing thousands of pages on your site.

Dynamic Library ServerDynamic Library Server

The Library Server is specifically intended for publishing articles that are not time sensitive. It automatically handles the creation and maintenance of summary pages, follow on detail pages, and enables articles to be sorted and viewed by author, topic or date.

Dynamic Gallery ServerDynamic Gallery Server

The Gallery Server is specifically intended for sites that will potentially have a large number of images to accompany their content. Integrating tightly with other Dynamic Content modules, it provides for simple creation and management of image galleries.

We reckon…

Not all websites will require the scalability or functionality provided by Dynamic Content Server modules. There's no reason why you can't have a simple news page without a dedicated Dynamic News Server, it will just require more administrative effort.
