The organisation

The ICG represents over 350 independent consultants working in market research and related disciplines, based primarily in the UK but operating worldwide.

The project brief

We were commissioned to build an engaging website that made the case for independent consultants, while also promoting their individual members. Like many organisations of their type, the ICG is primarily run by a committee of volunteers, so the site also needed to largely automate the process of signing up new members, receiving subscription payments, and administering advertisers, thereby minimising the workload.

Functionality highlight

To overcome shortcomings in their original site's Member Search system, we developed a specialist Consultant Match Server with a unique weighting system that provides market research buyers with useful and focused results, while promoting all members.
